About their event
The Empower Her: A Discussion about Black Maternal Health event, held on October 26th at Mt. Clair Missionary Baptist Church, was a powerful gathering focused on improving health outcomes for Black mothers and their babies. From 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM, the event offered access to baby resources, educational information, and essential health services, along with giveaways, dad-friendly resources, and nutritious food for moms and their little ones. Attendees shared knowledge, resources, and support, coming together to discuss strategies for addressing the unique challenges Black mothers face. This event provided a meaningful opportunity for mothers, professionals, and community members to collaborate and make a positive impact on maternal health.
