Girl Get Up Society
Girl, Get Up is a movement created to redefine what it means to be a strong Black woman by challenging the long-held belief that strength requires emotional suppression and self-reliance. Instead, they emphasize the power of vulnerability, community, and mental well-being. Girl, Get Up provides access to therapy, self-care, and support services for women and girls facing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, postpartum depression, and suicidal thoughts. Their mission is to foster healing, hope, and happiness by encouraging collective strength and emotional openness.
